Samsung today announced that will be expanding its mobile payment service, Samsung Pay, to Singapore — the first country in Southeast Asia. The company’s announcement comes less than a day after Apple launched Apple Pay in the country. Samsung has already secured partnerships with American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and major banks like DBS/OCBC Bank and Standard Chartered as launch partners. The Korean company expects to launch Samsung Pay in Singapore “by as early as Q2 2016”....
